Formpipe Life Science, specialist provider of enterprise content management, has added two new members to its team as part of an expansion of its software testing and development team. Nicholas Holmes and Michael Abegunrin have joined the Nottingham-based compliance solutions specialists providing expertise in product development and testing.

Holmes will start at Formpipe Life Science as a junior developer having recently graduated with a first-class degree from Nottingham Trent University. He has a passion for software development following on from his academic career studying computer science, as well as proven industry experience developing project management software and working with the technology stack currently being used at Formpipe. Lead developer at Formpipe Life Science, Jon Brewster, commented: “The addition of Nicholas to the development team is an exciting appointment for Formpipe Life Science. He brings a combination of a first-class degree in Computer Science, as well as a logical and pragmatic attitude to developing code. Nicholas’ skillset will allow him to work on any frontline product, yet he will initially concentrate on Platina’s V8 development.”

Also joining the team, Abegunrin will serve as a testing and development apprentice. Having previously worked as a test analyst performing UAT and system testing, Abegunrin brings a wealth of knowledge from the industry, as well as experience of automated testing with Selenium and Webdriver. Colin Swift, product manager at Formpipe Life Science commented on the new appointment: “Michael showed great enthusiasm and commitment during the interview process. His recent experience will enable him to be a major contributor to the automated testing activity recently initiated across the Formpipe Life Science product suite.”

Formpipe Life Science’s new appointments are part of a continued period of growth for the software firm. The product testing and development is just one area that will benefit from the investment as it looks to expand its support to businesses across the world.
