Adoxa brings data and people closer together in Aabenraa Municipality
After Adoxa has been implemented, Aabenraa Municipality will have completely control over their data. The employees are proactive and there is not far from thought to action when data rules are broken. Soon the municipality will be ready to use the system automatically.
Data security is important but seems overwhelming to keep track of at a busy day. But that is not how life should be. And that they know in Aabenraa Municipality, where they have implemented the Formpipe system, Adoxa, with great success. The implementation has given the municipality a crucial and so far impossible insight into its data, and then Adoxa can be used across systems.
Implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365
AGC Chemicals launched an ERP implementation project in 2019 using Microsoft Dynamics 365. As part of that project, the company needed to develop a large volume of reports and documents to supply to their customers and logistics partners.
However, they didn’t have the internal resources to build SSRS reports - the internal development team was small and focused on many other priorities and didn't have the SSRS reporting experience they’d need to create accurate and valuable reports. AGC Chemicals needed an external solution to allow them to create detailed reports internally, cheaply and quickly.
Transforming document management processes with Lasernet
In their search for a reliable output and document management partner, AGC Chemicals found Formpipe. Today, every document that the business generates out of the ERP system goes through Lasernet and is either printed or sent to customers or suppliers.
By working with Formpipe, AGC Chemicals has filled some of the gaps that Microsoft Dynamics 365 doesn’t offer. They can now create business-critical documents such as transfer order commercial invoices or certificates of analysis for sales orders, which detail all the batch information and customer-specific batch attributes.
But the improvements didn’t end with invoices and sales orders. Working with Formpipe also allowed AGC Chemicals to build reports quickly and dynamically. Even without a deep understanding of the database structure, Lasernet’s intuitive Query Wizard helped them easily locate and select the necessary data for their reports.
For example, using Lasernet, the company can now create reports that generate the weights, measures, and values, split across the different product types and commodity codes to produce accurate logistical planning documents quickly and easily.
Further Formpipe investment may be on the horizon
After success with Lasernet, AGC Chemicals is considering investing in other Formpipe solutions, such as our archiving and retrieval software Autoform DM, to improve management and colleagues' access to documents and give customers direct access to invoices and sales orders.
