Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the interest in digital signing solutions have increased sharply. Something that was confirmed at the closing of Q4, with several orders for Formpipe's product and new application for W3D3 and Platina, the Signing Portal. During the month of December alone, several orders for specifically the Signing Portal were received from customers. One of these was the Swedish Agency for Accessible Media, which highlighted the features, accessibility, and compatibility of screen readers as important components in the choice of solution.
With the help of the Signing Portal, our customers can send signing assignments directly from case and document management systems, other systems or create signing assignments directly in the application. This speeds up both internal and external processes significantly. Additionally, it also helps the democratic issue in that anyone can be a decision-makers – all that is needed is connection to a network from their mobile phone.
– There are a few things that stand out about the Signing Portal compared to other solutions on the market, such as: Long-term storage through the right document format and signatures for long-term validation, a better handling of personal data and an independence to suppliers when it comes to the information. Our customers own all information about signatures and documents, i.e., no dependence on third parties, says Jan Andersson, product manager for The Signing Portal.
Thanks to close cooperation with one of Formpipe's customers, Örebro Municipality, it was possible to develop a solution that met the increasing demand and needs of customers. A result that would later be called The Signing Portal and be at the forefront of digital development in the public sector.
– It is an offer that can be shaped around the customer's needs, and we have some functionality that other suppliers lack. Then it is like Jan said earlier, that we have the best product on the market. We are not the cheapest option, but we are confident in us having the best offer in digital signing, as we continuously replace other, cheaper signature solutions with customers. For our customers in the public sector, it is especially important to ensure that the signature can be verified in the future, whether it is tomorrow or in 10 years. It is also equally important that they themselves own the ability to verify authenticity themselves – we see many solutions out there, where customers are dependent on their suppliers to be able to verify the authenticity of a document. But it is self-instructing and easy to use, both as your own application, or if you want to integrate it with other system solutions," says Erik Lindgren, Sales Manager Public Sector Sweden.
