With Meetings Plus and the current document and case management system, you can plan, convene, and conduct meetings, as well as record and publish protocols. Meetings Plus consists several components that contribute to increased efficiency and transparency throughout the process, for both secretaries and meeting participants.
We want to dive into what makes Meetings Plus so unique. Therefore, we've been fortunate to have a conversation with the product leader Marte Sandvik and explore Meetings Plus and its add ons even more deeply.
Marte tells us that Meetings Plus provides our customers with a unique support for effective information management from documentation to decisions. By integrating the document and case management system, users can prepare for meetings, take notes, and communicate with colleagues. The latest addition, Meetings Live, adds attendance, speakerlists, voting, and reservations directly to Platina and W3D3.
"I am very proud that we have created a comprehensive solution that integrates the work of meeting participants and secretaries, which makes Meetings Plus so distinct. Most customers already have parts of the system, but with additional components for meeting management, they can increase both transparency and efficiency," says Marte Sandvik, Product Manager, Meetings Plus.
A few years ago, the Meetings Plus app replaced the old "Meetings" app. Soon after, Meetings Plus web was introduced when there was a need to share information publicly. The new web platform opened up new possibilities. Now, the public platform can also offer optional features such as a digital bulletin board and publishing information about elected officials.
"Usually, it's the app and the web platform that are used the most. We see an increased popularity for the digital bulletin board among customers familiar with the web platform.
Additionally, we see that publishing of elected representatives is a natural progression, especially when they also realize that we offer a register of trustee management to Platina For users already familiar with the Meetings plus app, I believe the next logical step is to start using Meetings Live," says Marte.
In recent years, Meetings Plus has undergone significant development and improvement. Now, with a solid foundation to build on, we are committed to maximizing the value of Meetings Plus and continuing to develop the product together with our customers.
"I look forward to continuing to drive this forward together with our customers and making it even better. I will do my very best to get more customers started with what we already have, with a focus on Meetings Plus and Meetings Live. Of course, there are also some ideas for further development,” Says Marte proudly when we ask about the future.
